About

About

NAFP at 118 Barnard Street has been caring for the local community and beyond since the late 1970’s and under its current ownership since 1994.

The doctors, nursing and administrative staff are proud of our long standing consistent reputation as a team who focus on practicing high quality care, using evidence based medicine, while paying particular attention to both acute and preventative health and continuity of care across our patients lifespan. We continue to be commended as a model practice for meeting the requirements of the RACGP Standards of General Practice.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of patient care, incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. We are committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of our best care, and aim to treat all patients with due respect and dignity.

Accreditation

NAFP is proudly accredited through QPA and described us as a “Model Practice” with very friendly and courteous staff. We aim to achieve the highest possible scores in all the required criteria.

Confidentiality

Our practice is dedicated to your confidential security and privacy of health information. At times, our doctors will take part in research, professional development and quality assurance. This can involve the collection of patient data, which will always be de-identified and those involved in analysis of data would not be able to identify which patient has been included.

If you would like more information please ask for a patient information leaflet or ask your doctor.
