Fee Information
In order to provide the quality of care that our patients expect and we wish to provide, North Adelaide Family Practice is a private billing practice. We do not bulk bill. For your convenience, our Tyro system enables instant Medicare rebates.
Our consultation fees vary according to how many problems are dealt with, the complexity of the problem or problems and the length of time which the consultation takes.
A guide of consultation time allocations and fees is included below and you are encouraged to allow adequate time. If we don’t need the time, you won’t be billed for it.
Children 16 years and under will be charged a reduced rate.
Please note that we are an association of independent practitioners and billing may vary between doctors.
Other services provided at your visit may attract additional fees.
A non-attendance fee will apply if you do not provide 2 hours notice of your cancellation.
Payment is required after each consultation and can be made by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.

Please note:
Fees apply for in person and telehealth consultations.
Standard appointments take 10 to 12 minutes, allowing a few minutes for the doctor to complete notes. These cover a single or an uncomplicated matter.
Long appointments cover more complex problems or if you have several things to discuss. It includes pap smears, mental health, antenatal care, etc.
