Phone Calls and Emails

If you wish to speak to your doctor on the phone it is usually necessary to leave a message so that the doctor can return your call at the end of consultations. Mostly, unless pre-arranged with your doctor it is necessary to come in for an appointment.

Email Communication with Patients

It is the policy of North Adelaide Family Practice not to address clinical enquiries from patients or their authorised representatives received by email. In addition to the inherent risks of email communication from a privacy perspective, email communication is not an appropriate substitute for clinical examinations, and we cannot guarantee that any email will be read and responded to within any particular period of time.

If an email is received containing a clinical enquiry, a reply will be sent inviting the patient to make an appointment and no response will be provided answering the clinical enquiry over email.
